Ushers are spiritually mature individuals who maintain smoothly running church services with a fervent love to joyfully serve others through a heart of hospitality. Typical responsibilities: connect first time guests, greeting people, assisting people with special needs, helping people find seats, distributing bibles, setting up and serving Communion, answering questions, ensuring a distraction-free sanctuary, cleaning up sanctuary, and more.
But most importantly, being an ambassador for Jesus.
Being an usher is an honorable position in the church, requiring integrity, cordiality, and wisdom.
